Custom-Made Desk Storage, Toilet Storage, Vanity Storage, and Eight-Panel Folding Doors for the Second-Floor Atrium

In this article, we would like to introduce a client project in which we completed several custom-made pieces together for a newly built detached home.

1. Built-In Furniture Throughout the Home

For this project, we created built-in furniture tailored to various areas of the home, including vanity storage, desk storage, and toilet storage.
By adjusting the size and materials to suit each individual space, we achieved a unified interior design that would be difficult to realize with ready-made furniture.
These built-in pieces not only serve a practical storage function but also harmonize beautifully as part of the overall spatial design.

2. Wall-Mounted Storage Above the Vanity

Above the vanity, we installed wall-mounted storage integrated with the mirror.
By making effective use of the wall space, the design provides ample storage while keeping the vanity area looking clean and uncluttered.
The wooden frame adds an accent and gives the space a soft, warm impression.
The area beneath the counter can also be used according to the homeowner’s needs, making this vanity storage both practical and easy to use.

3. Powder Room | Unified Storage Design

To create a cohesive design throughout the powder room, we built the storage shelves using the same materials and colors as the vanity storage.
Within the simple design, drawer storage was incorporated to neatly store small everyday items.

4. Eight-Panel Folding Doors on the Second Floor Atrium

For the second-floor area overlooking the atrium, we created eight-panel folding doors to divide the space.
Soft light passes through the glass sections, creating a design that does not feel oppressive even when the doors are closed.
These functional doors are easy to use even for a large opening and can be opened or closed according to how the space is used.

5. Desk Storage for the Workspace

Along the wall, we created desk storage that can be used as a practical workspace.
Drawer storage on both the left and right sides allows documents and small items to be organized while working.
The desk has a simple design while making the most of the natural texture of wood, resulting in a warm and inviting finish.

6. Toilet Storage Using Furniture Linoleum

Furniture linoleum was used for the doors of the toilet storage.

・Soft touch
・Calm and elegant color tones
For this storage piece, we selected a pale blue color to add a subtle accent to the space.
The natural texture of the material creates a calm and relaxing atmosphere in the toilet area.

Wall-mounted storage was also installed above the toilet, ensuring sufficient storage capacity even in a limited space.
Toilet paper, cleaning supplies, and other items can be stored neatly, helping to maintain a clean and tidy appearance.

The storage area is also unified with the overall toilet design, enhancing the sense of cohesion within the space.

7. Spatial Design Through Materials and Colors

The built-in furniture in this project balances both functionality and design.

One of the greatest advantages of custom-made furniture is the freedom to adjust sizes and select materials in ways that are difficult with ready-made furniture.
