In this article, we would like to introduce a project commissioned by a client in Akasaka, Minato, Tokyo.

A Custom-Made DJ Booth and Reception Counter Where Sound and Light Harmonize

A store in Akasaka, Minato, Tokyo requested the production of a DJ booth and reception counter, both of which play an important role in shaping the impression of the interior. This custom-made furniture was designed to balance functionality with a design that enhances the atmosphere of the space.
We carefully listened to the client’s desired image in advance, then selected the design and materials while considering the intended use of the space, lighting environment, and balance with the architectural materials. By incorporating the freedom and detail unique to custom-made production, we created a one-of-a-kind space.

Design Points

A soft curved design inspired by waves adds rhythm to the space
Color effects created by blue and orange LED lighting create a dreamlike atmosphere reminiscent of the seaside and night views
The combination with plants and indirect lighting creates a refined atmosphere

The lower base creates a stage-like presence, while the difference in level from the floor adds depth to the space
Orange-to-blue LED lighting gives the booth a strong presence both day and night
