1. Project Overview
With the opening of Company T’s new showroom in Harajuku, we received a request from an architectural design office to create fully custom-made display fixtures, doors, partitions, and other elements.
The entire fixture design features smooth curves, adding a flowing sense of movement and softness to the space.
2. Production Process for Complex Curved Fixtures
The curved structure, which makes up most of the fixtures, required both precision and strength during production.
At OJIKI Workshop, we made full use of our woodworking techniques to accurately reproduce the delicate curved shapes.
After temporary assembly at the workshop and careful finishing, the fixtures were installed on site.
3. Finish Material: Selection of Melamine Resin
For all of the fixtures, we used wood-grain melamine resin, a material that combines durability with design appeal.
Its smooth texture and refined wood grain create a sense of luxury while also ensuring the practicality required for a showroom.
4. Completed View After Installation
In the photos after installation, the soft indirect light linked with the LED lighting highlights the beauty of the curved surfaces.
The space, which combines functionality and design, serves as a showcase that enhances the appeal of Company T’s brand.
