In this article, we would like to introduce a project commissioned by a client in Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture. The design was created to make effective use of the wall space while avoiding a sense of heaviness or pressure.
By carefully listening to the client’s requests and proceeding with the production while confirming perspective drawings, or completed image renderings, in advance, we were able to create a piece that closely matched the client’s wishes.

This project involved creating a TV board that makes effective use of the living room wall space.
While standard TV boards often lack sufficient storage capacity, large storage furniture can make a room feel crowded. To address this, we designed the piece around the following requests:
• Keep the TV area organized and clutter-free

• Create a more spacious appearance in the room

2. Design Highlights | A Wall TV Board Designed to Minimize Visual Bulk
This TV board combines a wall storage unit with a low-profile TV cabinet.
While ensuring ample storage capacity, the storage section was intentionally limited to one side of the wall, creating visual openness and reducing the feeling of enclosure.
The open shelving unit on the left side can display:
• Books
• Decorative items
• Indoor plants
• Interior accessories
This design balances both storage and display functions.
By avoiding a fully enclosed wall of cabinetry, the overall space feels more open and comfortable.
3. Material Selection | The Appeal of Walnut Wood
Solid walnut was used for the cabinet doors.
Walnut is known as one of the world’s finest hardwoods and is prized for its:
• Rich, deep color tones
• Beautiful grain patterns
• Luxurious appearance and texture
Each solid wood panel has its own unique grain pattern, allowing the natural beauty of the material to shine through.
The main body was constructed using walnut veneer, creating a cohesive appearance that harmonizes perfectly with the solid walnut doors.
The result is a piece that exudes sophistication, warmth, and timeless elegance.
4. Sharing the Final Vision Through 3D Renderings
