Custom Extendable Folding Table for Compact Storage

This project showcases a custom-made table with an adjustable tabletop length and folding legs, allowing it to be folded flat for compact storage when not in use.

By repositioning the tables on both sides, the overall length can be freely adjusted from 1200 mm to 2400 mm.
The folding design also allows the table to be configured in different ways depending on the number of people using it.

Lightweight Design: To make the table easier to carry when folded, woven rattan was incorporated into the center section to reduce its overall weight. The rattan also adds a distinctive design accent.

Folds Flat for Compact Storage: When not in use, the table can be folded in a similar way to a traditional Japanese chabudai table. The tables on both sides fold down to create a slim, flat form, making it easy to store in a closet or other narrow space.
