Custom Furniture | A Natural Camphor Wood Living Table That Blends Seamlessly into the Living Room

Custom-Made Living Room Table Crafted from Solid Camphor Wood

Custom Furniture, Architectural Woodwork, Built-In Fixtures, Remodeling, Repair & Maintenance by OJIKI Workshop

In this article, we would like to introduce one of our custom-made projects commissioned by a client.

A Camphor Wood Table with a Natural Presence at the Heart of the Living Room

Placed at the center of the living room, this custom-made camphor wood table offers a calm and natural presence.

Its soft, flowing curves harmonize beautifully with the unique grain patterns of the wood, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere within the space.

The tabletop was carefully crafted from a single slab of camphor wood. The gently rounded edges and distinctive shape—resembling a soft triangular form—add character to the room while maintaining a balanced and understated appearance.

Table Legs Featuring Gentle Curves that Bring Warmth to the Space

The legs were also crafted from camphor wood and carefully shaped to emphasize their rounded form, creating a soft and welcoming impression.

The connection between the tabletop and legs has been finished seamlessly without visible steps or transitions, allowing both the eye and the hand to appreciate the smooth texture and refined craftsmanship.

Harmony with the Entire Living Space

Although the exact wood species used for the sofa and flooring are unknown, the interior has been coordinated in a calm and natural color palette, allowing the table’s beautiful wood surface to blend comfortably into the room.

A wooden world map decoration displayed on the wall further enhances the warmth of the space, creating an environment surrounded by natural materials and organic textures.
