Custom Order FAQs

This is my first time working with a workshop. Is that okay?

A: Yes, absolutely. We are happy to guide first-time customers through the process in a clear and friendly way.
Anyone is welcome to consult us about custom orders, repairs, maintenance, or remodeling.

We carefully listen to each request and work closely with you to meet your needs.

For consultations, please contact us via our official LINE account, by phone, or through the inquiry form, and let us know the type of furniture and approximate size.
If you have reference photos or illustrations, please feel free to send them along with your inquiry.

How long does production take?

A: The production time varies depending on the type of item and our current workload.
If you have an urgent request, please let us know at the time of inquiry.

  • Custom-made furniture and woodwork:
    Approximately 1 to 2 months

  • Repair, maintenance, and remodeling:
    Approximately 2 weeks (as a general guideline)

What payment methods are available?

A: Repair and remodeling costs are calculated as follows:

Repair / Remodeling Cost = Labor Cost + Material Cost + Delivery Fee

About Delivery Fees
・Delivery with one staff member: from ¥15,000
・Delivery with two staff members: from ¥28,000

Delivery fees vary by location. Additional expenses such as highway tolls and parking fees will be charged separately at actual cost.
(No delivery fee will be charged if you bring the item to our workshop or pick it up in person.)

How will I receive my completed furniture or architectural woodwork?

A:Once your piece is completed, it will be delivered to you by our workshop staff.
In some cases, we may ask for your assistance at the time of delivery. We appreciate your cooperation if needed.
If you would prefer to pick up your item at our workshop, please let us know during the consultation.

For customers outside Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba, and Saitama

In addition to the product price, an additional delivery fee will be required.
Delivery fees vary depending on the size of the item. Thank you for your understanding.

What warranty do you offer?

A:All products come with a one-year warranty from the date of delivery.

During the warranty period, any defects or damage caused by manufacturing issues will be repaired or replaced free of charge.
For all other cases, repairs will be available for a fee based on the actual cost.

If you are unsure whether an issue is covered by the warranty, please feel free to contact us.

Cases not covered by the warranty include:
・Damage caused by improper use or handling
・Scratches or damage resulting from moving or relocation after delivery

Can you repair or remodel any type of furniture?

A: Depending on the type and condition of the furniture, some items may not be suitable for repair or remodeling.

Do you offer on-site repair services?

A: On-site repairs at your home or office may be available depending on the nature of the repair.
In addition to the repair cost, an on-site service fee will apply.

Is pickup service available?

A: Pickup service from your home or office is available for locations within a two-hour one-way drive from OJIKI Workshop in Zama, Kanagawa.

For locations that require more than two hours of travel, we kindly ask customers to arrange delivery to our workshop on their own.

How much does repair or remodeling cost?

A: Payment can be made by bank transfer or cash.
Please note that we are unable to accept other payment methods, including credit cards. Thank you for your understanding.
