This time, we would like to introduce an order from a client who wanted to repair the worn tabletop of a dining table they had used for many years.

1. About the Repair Request/h2>
This project is the repair and refinishing of a dining tabletop requested by a private client.
In response to the client’s wish to continue using a piece of furniture filled with memories, we carried out careful maintenance.
2. Before | Condition Before Repair
Before repair, the tabletop had lost its overall luster, and dents and peeling finish were visible along the edges.
Uneven coating and fine scratches had spread across the surface, hiding the natural beauty of the wood grain.
3. Repair Details and Work Process
First, the old coating film was removed, and the entire tabletop was sanded.
After repairing chipped corners and scratches with wood inlays and putty, we refinished it with a matte urethane coating, as the client requested a lighter color tone.
We used a clear, transparent finishing method to bring out the appeal of the oak.
4. After | Finished Appearance After Repair
After repair, the tabletop was finished in a way that highlights the natural texture and beautiful grain of the oak.
The brighter, more natural impression gives the entire space a soft and warm atmosphere.
With its calm matte texture, the finish can also develop a pleasing character over time.

In response to the request to “change the color tone to better suit our current lifestyle,” we shifted the piece to a brighter and lighter tone without losing the original character of the furniture.
As maintenance to help the client continue using a familiar and beloved piece of furniture with care, the result was a finish they could be satisfied with.
